Our team of APA Sports Physiotherapists (Diane Long, Alan Davies and Eimear Keane)   strive to deliver a high quality service to provide solutions and strategies to manage your musculo skeletal health problems. Our highly skilled practitioners provide treatments with a hands on approach guided by latest evidence and professional experience. Our core activities include sports physiotherapy, treatment of a wide range of musculo skeletal problems, orthopaedic rehabilitation and waterproof casting.

Conditions commonly seen at our practice include back injury, muscle injury, joint sprains, tendinopathy, running injuries, patellofemoral pain, shoulder impingement, rotator cuff tear and instability, post op rehab following ACL reconstruction, arthroscopy and joint replacement. Also adolescent injuries such as Osgood Schlatters and Severs condition are managed. Dry needling, mechanical traction, biofeedback and laser are also modalities used in this practice.

The Recovery Muscle Pump is also used in the early post op period for lower limb conditions where peripheral swelling is a problem. It is a sequential intermittent pressure device. This modality is not limited to post op conditions but also is used for any condition causing lower leg swelling and In the recovery following intensive leg exercise.

 Radial Shockwave Therapy (Radial Shockwave Therapy)  is a useful, non invasive and evidence based treatment of tendinopathy and other soft tissue conditions.

We are also highly experienced in the recovery of work related injuries. All of our therapists are Workcover accredited. We currently have an association with provision of physiotherapy services to injured Woolworths workers.

We work closely with a wide range of other health professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to recovery. We cater for patient types of all levels and age groups. Private patients can immediate claim through HICAPS and we also treat Workcover, MVA Third party, DVA and Medicare EPC claims patients.

Members of our physiotherapy team also consult at our associated practice, Eastside Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Centre. This practice is located at 160 Belmore Road Randwick, underneath Orthosports. Eastside Physiotherapy has an orthopaedic rehabilitation, sports and hand therapy focus including casting and splinting.
