Dr Ben Soole is a senior Sport and Exercise Medicine Registrar in the ACSEP training program.
He was born and raised in Auckland, New Zealand, and graduated from The University of Auckland in 2015. He has spent time in the hospital system, as well as working in a GP role.
Ben has an interest in all sports, and has a background in playing football (soccer), among other sports. He enjoys keeping active in the gym, and has an interest in powerlifting.
Ben has worked with various sporting teams and he is currently the team doctor for the New Zealand Women's Rugby League team, the Kiwi Ferns, whom he has cared for since 2019. He will be the assistant doctor for the South Sydney Rabbitohs NRL team in the 2024 season. Outside of Rugby League, Ben has worked in Rugby Union as the team doctor for Moana Pasifika during the 2022 and 2023 Super Rugby Pacific seasons. He has also worked with football and netball teams, as well as covering professional tennis events.
