ESSMC welcomes Dr Alvina Ng. She will commence consulting in early February 2023.

Alvina values the importance of a healthy lifestyle. She believes that healthy eating, exercise and mental wellbeing are strong foundations in medicine. Her aim is to keep her patients staying active. She is interested in all musculoskeletal issues, weight management, concussions, collision sports and dance injuries.

. Alvina has worked with various sporting teams including being the team doctor for the Australian Women's Rugby League since 2021 including the Women’s Rugby League World Cup in 2022 and the inaugural test match against England held in Las Vegas in 2025.

She is also heavily involved with NRL medical services. She was the New Zealand Warriors NRLW head doctor in 2020. She is also currently the assistant Doctor for Bulldogs NRL.

Alvina provided medical coverage for soccer A-league, ultra-marathons, rugby union and World Rugby Sevens Series. She has completed the MOST trauma course and Pre-Hospital Immediate Care in Sport course.

Having worked in various emergency departments, Alvina also has extensive experience in Emergency Medicine. 

Alvina was a participant in Ninja Warrior Australia. She also personally enjoys calisthenics and dancing to keep herself active
